ESAN Ediciones, 1993-12-30) Adaniya, Ana RosaIt seeks to find the reasons why development projects fail focusing the analysis on the initial stage of strategic networks, considering that these projects conceptually fall within the definition of strategic networks. For this, the so-called grounded theory method of analysis is used, which allows the theory to be "discovered" from very detailed descriptions of what is observed. The unit of analysis are economic development projects financed with international funds, of which a small sample is taken. It is concluded that it is not only the lack of money that prevents the approval and implementation of projects, but also the asymmetries between organizations, as it is suggested that managerial and technological capacities, as well as legitimacy and trust, are not used to balance the subordinate position in which local organizations are found. However, it is argued that a better management of asymmetries will avoid the recurrence of the dominant-submissive behavior observed in the initiation of projects and will allow greater flexibility, which will result in the best design of the projects and increase the possibilities of their successful execution.Ítem Solo Metadatos “Las niñas también juegan con carritos” la mujer en la gerencia: el caso del Perú(Universidad ESAN. ESAN Ediciones, 1993-04-30) Adaniya, Ana Rosa; Pérez-Costa, Rosa P. deThe purpose of this research is to determine whether there are differences between managers’ perceptions about the characteristics of a successful manager. It is based on Schein’s studies of gender role stereotypes and the characteristics required to be considered a successful manager. The hypotheses, one for men and one for women, are that managers will perceive that successful ones have attitudes, characteristics and temperaments that are more commonly attributed to men in general than to women in general. The slightly modified Schein Descriptive Index questionnaire to a sample of 268 managers working in Lima. Interclass correlation coefficients (r’) were calculated from two random group analysis of variance of the 92 descriptive items. In conclusion, it is found that while the hypothesis in confirmed in male managers, the same is not true in female managers, who perceive thar both men and women have characteristics of successful managers. Another finding is that age and years of experience moderate the perceptions of women, while the level of education moderates those of men.Ítem Acceso Abierto Perfeccionamiento en ESAN: perfil del participante 1977-1982(Escuela de Administración de Negocios para Graduados, 1985) Adaniya, Ana RosaEstudio que sistematiza la experiencia educativa de la Escuela de Administración de Negocios para Graduados (ESAN) entre 1977 y 1982, especialmente la dirigida al sector público, a fin de identificar las expectativas del funcionario público respecto a esta institución, realizar un diagnóstico de sus preferencias académicas en cuanto a áreas temáticas y modalidades y, por último, obtener el perfil socioeducativo básico de dichos funcionarios. Este examen específico del funcionario público permite determinar su procedencia y destacar aquellas entidades (clasificadas por sectores y por tipo de entidad: empresa, ministerio, institución autónoma, etc.) que han ejercido mayor demanda sobre los programas de capacitación de ESAN. Igualmente, se contrastan las características del funcionario público que participa en los programas de ESAN con las de los participantes en general. Los resultados, que establecen similitudes y diferencias entre el alumno del sector público y el del sector privado en una serie de aspectos, permitirán realizar un adecuado planeamiento de las actividades académicas en el marco de una propuesta de perfeccionamiento profesional dirigida a los directivos del sector público.
