La IA generativa en el campo del derecho. Estudio de caso Eleccia: el asistente jurisdiccional electoral

| dc.description.abstract | El surgimiento de la inteligencia artificial generativa (IA Gen) está transformando la manera como la humanidad interactúa con la información, y la rapidez con la que procesa datos representa una ventaja para optimizar procedimientos. Esto repercute en los sistemas jurídicos en la protección de derechos, pero también constituye una oportunidad para que la Administración Pública brinde mejores servicios a los ciudadanos. En el presente artículo se analiza el estudio de caso EleccIA, el asistente jurisdiccional electoral virtual: una inteligencia artificial (IA) creada por el Jurado Nacional de Elecciones (JNE) para agilizar la calificación de expedientes de inscripción de listas de candidatos a cargos de elección popular y para proyectar sus resoluciones. Se concluye que el uso de esta herramienta tecnológica presenta ventajas significativas, al evidenciar la disminución del tiempo de calificación de expedientes de 240 minutos a 6 minutos, así como la verificación de la trazabilidad de los cambios que puedan realizarse manualmente en la calificación. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The emergence of generative artificial intelligence is transforming the way hu-manity interacts with information, and the speed with which it processes data represents an advantage for optimizing procedures. This affects legal systems in terms of protecting rights, but it also constitutes an opportunity for public administration to provide more efficient services to citizens. This article analyzes the case study EleccIA, the virtual electoral judicial assistant: an artificial intelligence created by the National Elections Board to streamline the evaluation of registration files for lists of candidates for elected office and to project its resolutions. It concludes that the use of this technological tool offers significant advan-tage, including the reduction of the time required to evaluate files from 240 minutes to 6 minutes, as well as verifying the traceability of any changes that may be made manually during the evaluation process. | en_EN |
