dc.description.abstractThis article deals with some aspects of the environment and its legal protection from the perspective of the highest courts of justice. In this sense, as an initial approximation, a small development of the importance of the environment in the evolution of human life is made. Likewise, two sentences issued by the Peruvian Constitutional Court, by the Supreme Court of Justice of Peru and by the European Court of Human Rights are discussed, and Advisory Opinion OC-23/17 of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights is also discussed, which allow clarifying concepts such as the environment, constitutional protection of the environment, environmental damage, sustainable development, environmental social responsibility, among others.en_EN
dc.description.abstractEl presente artículo versa sobre algunos alcances sobre el medio ambiente y su protección jurídica desde la óptica de los más altos tribunales de justicia. En ese sentido, como aproximación inicial, se hace un pequeño desarrollo de la importancia del medio ambiente en la evolución de la vida humana. Asimismo, se comentan dos sentencias expedidas por el Tribunal Constitucional peruano, por la Corte Suprema de Justicia del Perú y por el Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos, y también se comenta la Opinión Consultiva OC-23/17 de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos, los cuales permiten clarificar conceptos como medio ambiente, protección constitucional del medio ambiente, daño ambiental, desarrollo sostenible, responsabilidad social ambiental, entre otros.es_ES
